Benefits of VABR Membership
REALTOR® MEMBER/BROKER
Primary or Secondary Membership for licensed real estate agents, brokers and appraisers. Call the board office at 941-484-0614 for fees.
NONMEMBER SALESPERSON
Real estate agents whose license is active with a member broker office but who do not wish to receive the benefits of REALTOR® membership. All nonmember fees are billed to the broker. Call the board office at 941-484-0614 for fees.
AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP
Individuals or Companies who are not licensed in the real estate or appraisal profession, but have interests or services concerning the real estate profession such as Home Inspectors, Mortgage Companies, Title Companies, Home Services, etc.

Get your real estate merchandise at non-profit member rates at our Board store. We carry maps, signs, riders, indoor and outdoor brochure boxes, magnetic business cards , laminated wall maps and more.

AFFILIATE BENEFITS
The Venice Area Board of REALTORS®, chartered by the National Association of REALTORS® in 1956, has over 700 REALTOR® and Affiliate members serving the Venice Area. Affiliate members are a vital part of our community and an integral part of the Board.
As an Affiliate Member of the Venice Board you will achieve visibility and gain recognition in the Realtor® community...
The Board holds monthly General Membership Meetings where Affiliate members in attendance are recognized. We also provide members with numerous education opportunities and credit courses to maintain their licenses. Affiliate members have the opportunity to sponsor the meetings, various events and educational programs.
Both Affiliate and Realtor® members can serve on Committess that are involved with several community organizations such as the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, County Clean our Beaches and Volunteer Connections to do a variety of goodwill projects for the community. Over the past 15 years, the Board has raised over $150,000 for scholarships for local students.
We count on our Affiliates and we encourage our members to count on you too. We will spotlight your events, promotions and services on our website and publish your contact information in our membership roster and affiliate directory. Our front lobby features a table where Affiliate members are welcome to display their business cards or brochures, or materials may be placed directly into our Realtor Office mailboxes located near the lobby.
Need a mailing list for our Realtor® members? Upon request, all Members can receive an Excel format file to set up with a mail-merge document. (Sorry, while we will provide mailing address lists, we do not provide email address lists).
Each year we hold an Affiliate Trade Show in conjunction with our Realtor® Political Action Committee (RPAC) fundraiser. Affiliate members have the opportunity to host a table at this event which has developed into a very successful, cooperative effort!
Since 1982 the Board has been honored 15 times by the Florida Association of REALTORS® as the best in its size category for service to its members, the community, the State and National Associations. The Board has also received 17 Education Awards from the Florida Association - making it the Board that has won more awards than any other in the history of Florida Association. In 2002 the Board was honored as Business of the Year by the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce.
We at the Venice Board are proud of our many accomplishments and we are grateful to our Affiliates for their part in our success.
