The Venice Area Board of REALTORS® Golf Scholarship Committee recently announced the recipients of its 2008 Scholarship awards. Each of the 48 students will receive a $300 scholarship. Over the years, the Board has donated over $150,000 of funds to local graduating seniors and college students. The funds are raised during its annual golf outing held in the autumn. Plans are underway for this year's tournament. Committee members are seeking sponsors and door prizes and auction items for the events. All the proceeds go to the students!
